New for 2025/26!

The programme is designed for colleagues who are at the beginning of their work on reading fluency, or those who have begun this work but are keen to deepen their knowledge of the research and practices that underpin effective teaching of reading fluency at Key Stage 2. Schools should choose a Key Stage 2 reading fluency programme leader to attend the CPD. This could be a reading lead or an aspiring leader.

Sessions:

All sessions will take place from 1.00pm until 5.00pm on the following dates:

• Session 1 - Thursday 2nd October 2025

• Session 2 - Friday 21st November 2025

• Session 3 - Thursday 29th January 2026

• Session 4 - Friday 20th March 2026

• Session 5 - Friday 8th May 2026

• Session 6 - Thursday 9th July 2026

Lunch will be served on arrival at 12.15pm.

A maximum of two delegates per school who will both receive £80 backfill.
