If you are a leader or a teacher in a school that would like to gain practical and evidence-based strategies to improve language development in your school, this programme could be for you.

The six sessions will enable participants to gain an understanding of ‘typical’ language development, help teachers to identify children who may not be developing language skills as expected and provide practical classroom strategies and techniques for quality first teaching in YR and KS1.

Sessions:

All sessions will take place from 1.00pm until 3.00pm on the following dates:

• Session 1 - Tuesday 21st October 2025

• Session 2 - Tuesday 9th December 2025

• Session 3 - Tuesday 27th January 2026

• Session 4 - Tuesday 3rd March 2026

• Session 5 - Tuesday 5th May 2026

• Session 6 - Tuesday 30th June 2026 (this session will be held online)
